So who could have guessed that after starting this journey on getting healthier and of course losing weight, I would get an unexpected(unwanted) jumpstart. That’s right, the stomach flu. It started in our house on Christmas eve and took us out 1 by 1 slowly stealthily. New years eve I had fitful sleep and it began New years day. By the time I wanted more than water and crackers I was down 4 pounds. I know it is water weight but if I can keep with the portions that my tummy handles at this point I should have a good start on next weeks portion control plan.
Update- Other than a small swig of 7-up mid sick time I have stayed with my water challenge. I think that is helping me bounce back from this. Getting thirsty so off to get another cup of water, have a great day!
Sorry to hear about your stomach bug, but happy for you being down 4 pounds! I agree with portion control, I am working on that too so that my stomach shrinks and I WANT less. Missed you Sunday at the 9am.
