It is so easy to say you want to lose weight and so hard to follow through on it. I don’t do well writing down what I eat or want to eat or thought while I was eating. That is not the best way for me. The main idea has to be portion control and getting moving.
Day 1: That is today! My portion control at breakfast was good, this one varies for me because I have daycare kids coming and my own kids getting ready to catch the bus about this time so sometimes I don’t remember to eat and others I overeat not paying attention(obviously a place to watch. I took the boys out to play and shoveled the entire 30 minutes that they played.(++++) Lunch time I snacked while cooking for them and so had a very small portion during the meal. Then during nap I needed to make treats for the girls to take to school on Thursday. Yes I ate some of the cookie dough and half a sugar cookie. Not great, not horrible, but not great. Heck perfection isn’t possible but at least I am trying.
Hopefully this afternoon I can either shovel again(in WI we got dumped on yesterday) or a run on the treadmill or Wii fitness we shall see.
OK, I want to hear more of how it's going! I have gone up and down, back & forth in my weight loss/fitness journey. Sending encouragement your way for staying on track and may we both grow in godly eating (and learning what that looks like!)
