Have you spent much time praying lately? Do you really know how it all works. I know we pray and expect that God is just going to answer those prayers in the way we expect. Funny thing is that when you pray for patience, god gives you things to learn to be patient with. You get the picture it isn’t as easy as one would think to master this prayer thing.
This fall we were super busy with all the normal 3 child, 2 parent crazy week stuff. I knew we were burning out and I prayed for things to calm. Little did I know that the answer to my prayers was tons more things to be done and places to go and so the answer to my prayer was that things were calm and I just didn’t realize it. Funny how that works.
It does seem that when I pray for others, my messages are not quite so garbled to the man upstairs as those prayers seem to go through as prayed. Maybe that is my key, pray for others and know that someone is watching over me.
