The last time I was on my ramblings were very impatient that my patience had not been yet rewarded. I have learned that my way in the world my direction to follow is shown to me. I have to be willing and watch for the signs but they are there. A few weeks ago I was arguing with myself over whether the early childhood position at church was my sign. I looked into it extensively but finally agreed that although it was a great position and looked perfect for me, the timing was not right on my end so this could not be the direction but maybe more realistically a test of whether or not I was watching for the signs. If I took this position I would need to find care for James and that is not something that I want to do. In 2 years when he is in Kindergarten maybe but not now.
Patience was rewarded, also the test of following through. I had taken a photography class through UW-Extension and posted my assignments on Facebook. Between those posts and talking to another mom at the park I had 2 job possibilities for photography shoots. The first didn’t work with our schedule which was frustrating and the second is still out there when I am ready. I wondered if this was telling me something but waited. When we returned from vacation I had received a letter from The New York Institute of Photography with an offer for a deal on tuition if I singed up before my birthday. Now I knew it. So for my birthday(and Christmas) this year from my dear hubby and my parents, I am going to be getting the tuition to go back to school online!
I am so excited. I have 2 other jobs lined up as well. Now I need to come up with a name and cost sheet so I can study hard and really make this happen. Any suggestions out there?
